Simple life

Dear stranger,

When I tell people what I want to do with my life they always give me such strange looks. They ask, "what do you want to do? Where do you see yourself?" and I say I want a 6 am - 1 pm job if I can't be a full-time writer. I want to live in an apartment where I can shop at thrift stores in my free time, write, and read. One day a week I get a new book from my local library, and every morning I get a coffee at my local coffee shop. I want a peaceful, relaxing life. I want cats and dogs to be my company. It may sound like a nightmare to some but to me, having that sounds peaceful. I do have goals, and places I want to travel to but in the long term that is what I want. Does that sound so weird?
