Friends

Dear stranger,

Why is making new relationships (friend or romantic) so hard for me? I try to make new ones but they just become exhausting on my part. I don’t like texting/facetiming every minute of the day or pointless conversations that are so repetitive. I can hold a relationship but once I move (which is unavoidable) I lose all interest. I can’t seem to do long-distance relationships for the life of me. I've had the same friend group for years. I can only seem to do long distance with them because we had years to build a strong bond before I started traveling full time. Don't get me wrong, I love my three little friends, we are all close to each other and have the best time whenever I do have time to fly down to visit but it bugs me, not being able to make friends that stick. It's mainly my fault because eventually the friendships I do make start to feel like a chore. I'm not unhappy but idk.
